Vanessa is a Senior Attorney in the Dallas office of Mayer LLP. 

Vanessa was born and raised in Dallas-Fort Worth. She obtained her B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice with honors from the University of Texas at Arlington. She attended Texas A&M School of Law to obtain her Juris Doctor. During which time she interned at the Dallas County District Attorney’s office. After law school, Vanessa became a prosecutor and tried numerous cases to trial. Eventually changing course, Vanessa moved into civil litigation where she defended clients in various types of cases, including construction defect, personal injury, premises liability, and transportation.

 Away from the office she enjoys spending time with her family traveling and going to baseball games.
