Trent Rexing is a seasoned trial attorney and trusted advisor, recognized for his ability to guide clients through litigation while prioritizing their business interests. As a testament to the trust and confidence his clients place in him, Trent serves as National Coordinating Counsel for several of his clients, including Fortune 500 companies, overseeing all aspects of their cases across the country.

Trent specializes in general commercial litigation, personal injury defense, and premises liability in state and federal courts. He represents businesses of all sizes, handling contractual disputes and a wide range of business tort claims, including tortious interference with contracts and business relationships, fraud and fraudulent misrepresentation, trade secret misappropriation, breach of fiduciary duty, conversion, civil conspiracy, and unfair competition. Trent regularly secures injunctive relief — including temporary restraining orders and temporary injunctions — to protect clients from ongoing harm such as misuse of confidential information, violation of non-compete agreements, and other unfair competitive practices. Additionally, he has extensive experience representing insurers and self-insured companies in tort-based litigation, with a focus on dram shop, premises liability disputes, negligent security, products liability, and transportation-related personal injury claims.

A significant portion of Trent's practice involves defending national and regional companies against personal injury and premises liability claims  in the multifamily residential, hospitality, automotive services, and private golf club industries. He also counsels property management companies and multifamily housing operators on landlord-tenant disputes, evictions, habitability claims, and code enforcement matters. Trent further advises clients on employment-related issues, including wrongful termination defense and general employment counseling.

Trent's diverse clientele includes national apartment complex management firms, restaurant chains, private country clubs, automotive service and tire retailers, industrial services companies, transportation and logistics providers, technology companies, construction firms, entrepreneurs, law firms, and former NFL athletes. Beyond Texas courts, he has successfully navigated litigation in Canada, the UK, and numerous states across the US, including Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Florida, Oregon, Arizona, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Louisiana, California, Tennessee, Utah, Indiana, Ohio, and Alabama.
