Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Shaleigha Shepard earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in International Studies from Georgia Southern University. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Texas Southern University in Houston, where she developed a strong foundation in trial advocacy and civil litigation.

Before joining Mayer LLP, Shaleigha practiced at a plaintiffs’ labor and employment firm, where she represented employees in workplace disputes involving discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination. She later transitioned to a plaintiffs’ personal injury firm, where she focused on premises liability and negligent security cases involving serious injury and wrongful death. This experience provided her with a deep understanding of the litigation process from the plaintiff’s perspective and strengthened her ability to evaluate and defend complex claims effectively.

At Mayer LLP, Shaleigha provides services in personal injury and general liability matters. Her work includes cases involving auto and trucking accidents, premises liability, liquor liability, construction defect, workplace injuries, and wrongful death claims. She is known for her steady judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to resolving cases efficiently and effectively.
