Sebastian Turet is a native Houstonian. He graduated from the University of Houston twice – first in 2019 to obtain his B.A. in English Literature, and again in 2025 to receive his J.D. During law school, Sebastian was a member of the Moot Court Team, where he placed in the semifinals in every moot court competition he competed. Sebastian also served on the board of the Journal of Health Law & Policy, where he published an article about Texas and U.S. Constitutional law issues.

Sebastian remains in Houston to defend his community in insurance and transportation disputes. Before joining Mayer, Sebastian began his practice mainly in insurance defense and transportation litigation. Currently, he practices first and third-party insurance defense, personal injury, transportation, and construction litigation.

When not at work, Sebastian can be found hiking in one of Texas’s many beautiful state parks or spending time with friends and family.
