Matthew Espinosa was born in San Antonio, Texas. He attended college at Our Lady of The Lake University receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice in 2018. He attended St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio where he participated as President of the Criminal Law Association and as a Staff Writer for The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice. He joined the firm in November of 2023.

When he is away from the office, Matthew enjoys playing basketball, watching sports, fishing, grilling, and traveling. He particularly enjoys spending time with his wife and two Mini-Goldendoodles.
