Kerry Cait Marinelli brings a wide range of civil and criminal litigation to her role with Mayer LLP. She received a Bachelor of University Studies from the University of New Mexico, where she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. Kerry went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from the University of New Mexico School of Law and received her diploma while completing an American Bar Association approved semester abroad in Australia. Her legal practice has allowed Kerry to be a lifelong student, and she relies on her past education to continue developing her skills for the benefit of her clients.

Born and raised in New Mexico, Kerry has always believed she should use her education to uplift her community. Her legal career has been varied: she represented low-income New Mexicans in court on a variety of civil legal matters, served as an Assistant District Attorney in both the 2nd and 13th Judicial Districts, was criminal defense attorney, represented allegedly incapacitated adults as a Guardian ad Litem in Adult Guardianship cases, practiced insurance defense as captive counsel for two national insurance companies, and most recently practiced Product Liability, Wild Fire Mass Torts, and Data Breach. Each area of practice emphasized Kerry’s deeply ingrained desire to seek justice for her client.

Kerry is an avid hockey fan, even playing in local adult recreational league, runs the bosque with her dog, and supports various animal rescues in and around New Mexico.
