George is a senior attorney in the firm’s Dallas office, who prides himself as an excellent writer and advocate—someone that helps his clients solve problems they cannot, or do not want to, solve themselves.

Before joining Mayer, he worked as an attorney for the Social Security Administration, then for several other Dallas-area firms in a broad range of insurance litigation, commercial litigation, and personal injury law. That experience has allowed him to comfortably settle in at Mayer as a member of our Retail and Transpiration teams.

George was a member of the last class of Texas Wesleyan University School of Law before it was purchased by Texas A&M.  He graduated one spot from receiving cum laude honors, and despite it happening 12 years ago and counting, he never brings it up and is not the least bit bitter about it.  During law school, he was a research assistant for professors’ papers on Constitutional law and Copyright law and also served as an Articles Editor of the Law Review’s Board of Editors.

Prior to law school, he was a Series 7 & 63 licensed stock broker—during the subprime mortgage crises.  That experience drove him to pursue law school with hopes that he could play a more effective role in helping others out of crisis situations.

In his free time, George enjoys kayaking, playing basketball, board games, video games, and spending time with his family, including two children.
