David is an associate attorney at the Albuquerque office of Mayer LLP, with a practice focusing on civil litigation, especially medical malpractice. He represents a variety of clients throughout the healthcare industry in New Mexico as well as representing clients in construction defect cases and corporate defense matters.

David was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated from Trinity University with a Bachelors in Spanish. He then went on to complete a Juris Doctor program at the University of New Mexico School of Law, where he sat on the Student Bar Association, the Graduate and Professional Student Association, and was a Source and Citation editor for the New Mexico Law Review. Before graduation, he was awarded Judge Oliver Seth Award for Excellence in Alternative Dispute Resolution for his passion for alternative dispute resolution as well as the Brian Colón Exemplary Service Award for his work in recompiling and drafting both the bylaws and the constitution for the Graduate and Professional Student Association at the University of New Mexico.

In his free time, you can find David trying new foods, listening to audiobooks and music, skiing, or spending time with his family, friends, and his assortment of pets.
