Chnequa Harrison is an accomplished attorney with a broad legal background spanning insurance defense, medical malpractice defense, business, and transportation law. She is deeply committed to social justice and community empowerment, bringing a unique blend of academic excellence and professional experience to her practice.

Before entering law school, Chnequa spent five years as an educator, where she fostered a passion for learning and personal growth among her students. Her career also includes over 18 years as a paralegal, a role that provided her with a deep understanding of the legal system and its real-world impact on individuals and communities.

Prior to joining Mayer LLP, Chnequa practiced law at Advocates for Community Transformation, a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to helping families live in safe and thriving neighborhoods. There, she worked to equip residents with the legal knowledge and resources necessary to navigate challenges, assert their rights, and strengthen their communities.
