Haleigh Hashem is an associate in the Dallas office of Mayer LLP.  Haleigh graduated with bachelor’s degrees in Markets & Culture and Psychology from Southern Methodist University and went on to receive her juris doctorate from Baylor Law.

While at Baylor Law, Haleigh was a member of the Order of the Barristers, a distinction awarded to students that demonstrated excellent appellate advocacy in Baylor’s interscholastic moot court competition. Haleigh competed in several national mock trial competitions – notably performing as a top advocate at the National Civil Trial Competition in Los Angeles, California. Haleigh also competed head-on against her law school classmates in Baylor Law’s prestigious “Mad Dog” Mock Trial Competition and came in First Place, earning the recognition as the top student in trial skill persuasion and the “Mad Dog” title of her graduating class. Outside of the classroom, Haleigh dedicated her time to representing detained juveniles in McLennan County through Baylor’s Juvenile Justice Clinic and to volunteering with Baylor’s Veterans Clinic, helping to provide free legal services to a veteran population of over 75,000 in the Central Texas area. Haleigh received Baylor’s Boots on the Ground Award for her work in the Veteran’s Clinic and her dedication to “Serving Those Who Served.”

Outside of the office, Haleigh enjoys live music, travel, and pickleball.
