Allyson Hurst is an associate in the Dallas office of Mayer LLP. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of South Carolina. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. She is nearing completion of an L.L.M. degree from Universität Hamburg in Hamburg, Germany, where her research was focused on the limits of criminal law harmonization in the field of illicit trafficking in cultural goods, as governed by the Maastricht Treaty and the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. Prior to joining Mayer, she practiced law in South Carolina.

In her free time, Allyson is an avid road cyclist, and a supporter of the New York Knicks and F.C. St. Pauli. She enjoys traveling with family and friends.
