Mayer successfully obtained a full summary judgment in a complex New Mexico medical malpractice case. After two years of diligent defense, the court ruled that our clients, emergency medicine providers and their employer, were not responsible for the patient’s death.

The case involved multiple claims, including medical negligence, corporate negligence, joint venture, breach of contract and warranties, the unfair practices act, and a demand for punitive damages. It was further complicated by high-profile circumstances. Despite these challenges, our team methodically addressed each claim, demonstrating the absence of evidence supporting the allegations.
