Roxanna Maiberger is a civil litigation attorney in Mayer LLP's San Antonio office, where she focuses her practice on commercial transportation litigation and insurance defense. She manages pre-litigation and litigation files, conducts investigations for direct-company clients and insurance carriers, and handles all phases of the litigation process.

Roxanna is a proud San Antonio native who left home to attend The University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences. During her undergraduate education, she had the privilege of being a member of The Longhorn Band as a piccolo player and earned the role of section leader during her senior year in 2016. Following graduation with her bachelor's degree, Roxanna went on to earn a Master of Public Affairs from the LBJ School of Public Affairs in 2018 and went to work at Texas Medical Liability Trust in Austin, Texas for about four (4) years.

While at TMLT, Roxanna built a strong foundation in risk assessment and regulatory compliance as a Risk Management Representative. There, she conducted on-site reviews of physician practices for compliance with Texas Medical Board regulations and authored company publications on medical liability and risk management topics. That experience sharpened her analytical skills and gave her a practical understanding of how risk translates into the day-to-day of litigation, which she incorporates into her practice and every case she handles today. This helps her act in the best interest of clients by being able to deliver thorough and proactive evaluations upon assignment of a matter.

After working at TMLT, she returned to her hometown of San Antonio for law school at St. Mary's University School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor in 2024 as a Dean's Scholarship recipient and was honored with the Women in Law Leadership Award during her law school career. During law school, she served as Executive Editor of The Scholar: St. Mary's Law Review on Race and Social Justice and was a member of the St. Mary's National Mock Trial Team. She credits her trial team experience with introducing her to Mayer LLP.

Outside the office, Roxanna enjoys spending time with her husband, Evan, along with family and friends. Roxanna is glad to be back home and settled down in the Alamo City.
