Mitchell Mills, a Partner in Mayer LLP’s Lubbock office, is an experienced trial attorney who zealously represents his clients in all stages of litigation. He focuses his practice on defending clients in personal injury matters involving trucking and automobile accidents, premises liability, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death. Mitchell works with clients to evaluate claims, formulate and execute defense strategies, and provide practical guidance throughout litigation.
Mitchell has served as lead counsel in successfully trying over a dozen cases to jury verdict in Texas state courts. His trial results include multiple defense verdicts and favorable outcomes in cases involving personal injury and automobile accidents.
Mitchell received his B.S. in Sports Management from Lubbock Christian University before graduating magna cum laude from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2013.

Representative Experience
- Obtained a favorable defense verdict in Dallas County in a case involving an alleged traumatic brain injury arising out of a motor vehicle accident. After four days of trial, the jury placed 50% liability on the plaintiff and awarded approximately $25,000 in total damages, where the plaintiff’s attorney had requested $1.2 million.
- Secured a complete defense verdict in Denton County in a case where my client exited a private driveway and struck the plaintiff’s vehicle. Jury found no negligence against my client.
- Secured a complete defense verdict in Hill County in a personal injury case involving a lane-change collision with a police report that was adverse to my client. Jury found no negligence against my client.
- Secured a complete defense verdict in Dallas County in a case involving a rear-end accident where my client rear-ended a vehicle carrying multiple plaintiffs. Jury found no negligence against my client.
- Secured a complete defense verdict in Dallas County where my client rear-ended the plaintiff’s vehicle on I-35, resulting in a clavicle fracture and shoulder injuries for which surgery was recommended. Jury found no negligence against my client.
