Katherine Sartain is a civil litigation attorney in the Dallas office. Born and raised in Dallas, Katherine attended Louisiana State University for her Bachelor’s degree. After four years in Baton Rouge, La., Katherine moved to Colorado Springs, Co., to work as an Events Coordinator for Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association, a 501(c)3 dedicated to promoting the game of baseball, raising money for charities across the world, inspiring and educating youth through positive sport images, and protecting the dignity of the game through former players. After six years of promoting the game and rising to Director of Events for MLBPAA, Katherine returned to Texas in 2021 for her next chapter at Baylor Law School. During law school Katherine participated in the Baylor Law Criminal Law Boot Camp and competed with teammates in ABA Negotiation Competitions. Outside of the classroom, Katherine was involved in Sports Law Society and dedicated her time to volunteering with Baylor’s Veterans Clinic, helping to provide free legal services to a veteran population of over 75,000 in the Central Texas area, which contributed to her receiving the Baylor Pro Bono Award for her service to the community.

Outside of the office, Katherine enjoys traveling, live music, watching sports, playing intramurals, and exploring the outdoors with her dog.
