Representative Experience
Before joining Mayer LLP, Diara handled represented clients in both plaintiff and defense matters, including construction defects, personal injury claims, premises liability, and insurance defense litigation. Her experience includes handling a wide range of first- and third-party insurance litigation claims from intake through trial preparation. Her clients have included individuals and businesses throughout Texas.
During law school, Ms. Hernandez was an active participant in the Advocacy Program, competing in three moot court competitions and participating in mock trial competitions. She also earned her certification as a mediator and received the CALI Excellence Award for Advanced Legal Skills. Ms. Hernandez gained practical experience as a student attorney in the Trademarks Clinic, where she provided legal assistance to clients on trademark-related matters under supervision.
