Amy Agnew is an experienced attorney who represents individual clients and companies in both state and federal courts throughout Texas as well as administrative venues.  Amy had an interest in the law from an early age and grew up around the legal profession.  Amy’s practice focuses on transportation cases and personal injury matters, including extensive experience handling trucking accidents, wrongful death and catastrophic injury claims, premises liability claims and professional liability matters.  Her experience also includes construction defect cases, commercial disputes, and general insurance defense issues.  Amy has won numerous summary judgment motions in both state and federal court in Texas, and she handles cases from pre-suit through trial.  Before going into private practice, she was an Assistant Disciplinary Counsel with the Office of the Chief Disciplinary Counsel for the State Bar of Texas and represented the Commission for Lawyer Discipline in disciplinary proceedings.

Amy is a native of Dallas, Texas.  She received her B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Richmond.  After college, Amy lived and worked in Washington D.C. before moving back to Texas to attend law school.  She received her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law.  Away from the office, Amy enjoys traveling, reading a good book, and spending time with her family and friends.
