The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed a summary judgment in favor of our client, a national retailer in a lawsuit stemming from an allegation that our client’s employee did not respect the plaintiff’s personal space, causing them to fall and sustain injury. The district court found that the Plaintiff’s injuries were not from any negligent behavior of the employee, and the Fifth Circuit affirmed. The retailer was represented by partner Robin R. Gant.
