Dylan Drummond Moderates Appellate Judicial Panel at Texas A&M Law School

Mayer attorney Dylan Drummond recently moderated an appellate judicial panel at the “Transitioning to Appellate Practice” CLE hosted by the Diversity Committee of the Appellate Section of the State Bar of Texas. The course was held at Texas A&M School of Law and focused on helping lawyers build an appellate practice or transition their practice from trial to appellate work. It also provided law students the opportunity to connect with lawyers and appellate judges. The panel discussed advocating in appellate courts, and speakers included Justice Wade Birdwell from the Second District Court of Appeals and Justices Amanda Reichek and Justice Dennise Garcia from the Fifth District Court of Appeals.

Dylan is the Immediate Past Chair of the Appellate Section of the State Bar of Texas and is a former Texas Supreme Court clerk. He is also an accomplished civil appellate and commercial litigator who represents clients in complex civil disputes before state, federal, and administrative forums at trial and on appeal.  Dylan looks forward to serving as the course director for TexasBarCLE's Advanced Civil Appellate Practice course in Austin this September.
