Farris Ahmad is a litigation attorney who handles complex civil matters, with a particular focus on transportation and insurance defense. He brings a disciplined, courtroom-informed approach to each matter and helps clients navigate disputes efficiently and strategically.

Farris has experience representing a broad range of commercial and institutional clients, including major oil and gas corporations, restaurant chains, commercial airports, and multinational manufacturers. His practice involves managing cases through all stages of litigation with an emphasis on clear risk assessment and practical resolution.

Before entering private practice, Farris served as a prosecutor for the City of Dallas, where he tried numerous cases before judges and juries. As a former franchisee, Farris has first-hand insight into the operational and practical challenges businesses face when disputes arise. That experience sharpened his judgment in evaluating cases, developing litigation strategy, and preparing matters for trial.

Farris earned his Juris Doctor from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from North Central College, where he served as Captain of the Debate Team.

Outside of his practice, Farris enjoys spending time with his wife and their two sons.
