Eric Pendergrass is an attorney and business professional based in Fort Smith, Arkansas, whose practice focuses on business and commercial transactions, estate planning, and the representation of privately held and family-owned companies.
He advises clients in a range of transactional and planning matters. His practice includes business entity formation and governance, commercial agreements, real estate and asset transactions, and estate planning for individuals and closely held business owners. Mr. Pendergrass’s leadership has extended beyond his law practice. He currently serves on the Fort Smith Airport Commission (past Chairman), the Arkansas 4-H Foundation Board of Directors, and has chaired the Wholesale Beer Distributors of Arkansas. He also serves on the boards of several privately held entities. Under his leadership, his family companies have been recognized on numerous occasions for their generosity and dedication to lifting up others.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Pendergrass worked with the National Center for Agricultural Law in Fayetteville, Arkansas, conducting research and analysis on animal food protein trackability and intellectual property issues related to biotechnology, seed genetics, and agricultural innovation.
A native of Charleston, Arkansas, Mr. Pendergrass earned a B.S.A. (Magna Cum Laude) in Agricultural Business with a minor in Economics in 2003, a J.D. (Cum Laude) in 2006, and an LL.M. in Agriculture & Food Law in 2007—all from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.
He and his wife Meighan were married in 2006 and have one daughter.
