Audrey M. O'Neal is a litigation associate at Mayer LLP, where she primarily defends businesses in personal injury and premises liability matters. She approaches every case with careful preparation and principled advocacy. Her prior experience in business and commercial law, where she reviewed contracts and evaluated disputes before litigation, sharpened the attention to detail and practical judgment she brings to her practice. She is admitted to practice in Texas state courts and in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas.
Audrey earned her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2025 and holds a Texas Mediation Certification. During law school, she was named to the Dean's Honor List in multiple semesters and received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award for earning the highest grade in a substantive writing course. She also served as a judicial law clerk for Judge Christine Weems of the 281st Civil District Court in Harris County and gained litigation experience at several Houston firms, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery and analyzing deposition testimony.
Audrey holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management, with a pre-law concentration and a minor in Human Resource Development, from Texas A&M University in 2020. While at Texas A&M, she worked with at-risk youth through the Boys & Girls Club and trained future service dogs for Patriot PAWS, which provides service dogs for disabled veterans. Before pursuing law, she also worked with children with developmental disabilities. These experiences taught her patience, empathy, and the importance of advocating for others, qualities she brings to her practice today.
When she's not practicing law, Audrey enjoys mentoring law students, painting, pottery, board games, and spending time with her German Shepherd, Kira.
