Raymond Johnson is a dedicated attorney specializing in insurance defense and general litigation, representing clients and insurers with a focus on medical malpractice, insurance defense, commercial litigation, contract litigation, premises liability, transportation, and personal injury. Raymond joined Mayer LLP directly after graduating from South Texas College of Law, Houston.

Raymond's primary areas of focus include medical malpractice, insurance defense, transportation, and personal injury. He assists in defense for home warranty disputes related to appliance and home system repair and replacement. Raymond has also worked extensively with a premier provider of medical liability insurance and risk management services for healthcare professionals in Texas, specializing in comprehensive coverage to protect physicians, surgeons, facilities, and other healthcare providers.

Raymond has also worked for a premier trucking company, providing freight trucking services across North America, and has assisted with the defense of a major retailer across America regarding premises liability and personal injury claims.

Prior to joining Mayer LLP, Raymond gained valuable experience in various legal settings. He served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and assisted a team of Assistant District Attorney’s in the 208th Felony District Court. In the Harris County Crimes Against Children division, Raymond handled some of the community’s most sensitive cases, reviewing and summarizing evidence, organizing files, drafting motions, and running docket in the Trial Bureau. Raymond also served as a Law Clerk at one of Houston’s largest personal injury firms, drafting pleadings and discovery. Raymond began clerking at Mayer LLP while preparing to sit for the Bar.

In his spare time, Raymond enjoys experimenting with new recipes and hiking. He brings his passion for problem-solving and dedication to achieving positive outcomes for clients into every aspect of his life
