Moises is the eldest son of a close-knit and hardworking family that is passionate about serving others—his mother and younger brother are accountants, and his father is an electrician. Moises learned at an early age about the values of developing and maintaining strong client relationships and exceeding client expectations.

Moises graduated from the University of Houston in 2017 (“Go Coogs!”), where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management and was a member of the International Honor Society for Hospitality Students. Before diving into the legal world, Moises worked with Landry’s at Saltgrass Steakhouse for four years, where he was tasked with the vital role of ensuring the restaurants complied with the required licensing, health, and safety regulations. With an eye for detail, Moises learned first-hand at Landry’s how to solve problems and manage the complexities of a multi-faceted business.

Moises graduated from law school at South Texas College of Law Houston in 2022, where he competed in the South Texas College of Law Advocacy Program that was ranked third in the State of Texas in 2022 by the U.S. News & World Report. Moises was a champion in the 2020 South Texas College of Law Intramural Moot Court Competition and a quarterfinalist in the 2022 Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court Competition. In his third year of law school, Moises interned at the Harris County Attorney’s Office in their Defensive Litigation Division.

Before joining Mayer LLP, Moises worked as an associate attorney at a boutique law firm where he practiced real estate and commercial litigation. Most of his client’s consisted of property investors, lenders, and landlords.

During his free time, Moises enjoys watching sports, keeping up with his shows, and spending time with his friends and family.
