Veronica Lewis Mireles joins Mayer LLP with more than seventeen years of experience in litigation across a broad spectrum of practice areas and roles. She has extensive experience handling all aspects of a large portfolio of complex civil litigation and insurance claims, and governmental investigations.

Before graduating from the University of New Mexico with her Bachelor’s and Juris Doctor with honors, Veronica was a litigation team member for various New Mexico civil defense firms for many years. During law school, she externed with the Honorable James O. Browning, United States District Court for the District of New Mexico, tutored the Evidence and Trial Practice course, and studied International Business Law/Transactions and European Law abroad at Facultad de Ciencias Jurisdicas y Sociales de Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, Spain. Now, licensed in New Mexico and Texas, Veronica is well versed in civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution. 

With deep New Mexican roots, Veronica was born and raised in the southwest. She enjoys all things food, history, and art related.
