Quoc-Bao “Jack” Ma is a litigation attorney at Mayer LLP, where his practice focuses on construction law, insurance coverage and defense, commercial disputes, premises liability, hospitality, and sports and entertainment law. Jack has represented clients across a broad spectrum of industries in both state and federal courts.
When he’s not representing clients, Jack can be found fishing in Galveston, lifting at the gym, or experimenting in the kitchen.

Representative Experience
Before joining Mayer LLP, Jack handled high-stakes matters at both national, midsize, and boutique firms, involving commercial complex litigation, business disputes, professional malpractice, real estate, financial institutions, and criminal defense. This diverse background enables him to deliver strategic, client-focused representation tailored to the complexity of each case.
During law school, Jack interned for judges in Florida, Georgia, and Texas, as well as the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. He served as a student attorney in the Immigration, Consumer, and Civil Clinics, and the Juvenile & Children’s Advocacy Project, providing pro bono legal services to underserved communities. Jack has also held numerous leadership roles throughout high school, college, and law school, and regularly volunteered in both the Dallas and Houston areas.
