Ashanti is a new attorney that has gained a vast amount of unique legal experience. Prior to starting law school, she completed her undergraduate school’s student police academy. She trained with the Virginia Tech Police Department as well as the Virginia Tech SWAT team. From there she was able to secure an internship with her local Sherriff’s Department. She learned and witnessed the ins and outs of the legal system first hand. During law school she completed various internships and clerkships gaining experience in family, criminal, and corporate law.

Prior to joining Mayer, LLP, Ashanti worked as a plaintiff’s attorney practicing personal injury.

Ashanti thrives in the presence of adversity and believes that life is about overcoming challenges whether they are inside or outside the courtroom.

Outside of the office, Ashanti enjoys spending time with her dog, Luca, taking Pilates classes, and exploring the Dallas area.
